Having a beautiful business card is great, but you shouldn’t rely on it completely. You need to be able to train your friends and family members on how to make a powerful introduction and helpful referral for you. This will make a big difference in your business.
The best way to do this is to have that friend or family member get the name and number of the interested person and then create a group text with the three of you. Then they can introduce you, say how you can help, give that person your information, and then let you take it from there. This way, you have their information and can follow up with them.
Another benefit of this method is that the possible client knows positive things about you, has your contact information, and possibly has the link to your website or digital business card to learn more about you and be “pre-sold” before talking with you..
