Marketing a luxury home takes an enormous amount of creativity. One creative strategy to both show off your creativity and to showcase the best features of a home is through a luxury “lifestyle” video. We made one recently for a $7.25 million property we are marketing just outside of Chicago. We highlighted the pool and all of the entertainment space, which is really going to entice buyers.

We highlighted some of the best features of the outside of the home through video; it had an amazing pool and a lot of land. We brought in my kids and the owner’s grandkids and emphasized the lifestyle of the home above all else. It’s about 25 miles outside of Chicago, and a fantastic place to entertain. We made sure to highlight the pool, yard, and home office.
When you put a lifestyle video together for a property, you have to go that extra mile to make sure you highlight all of its best features. You may have to move some furniture around or in or out, but it’s going to be worth it if it works to highlight a home’s feature.

We removed some things for photos and put everything back later as we do for most of our photo shoots. You have to create some “before” and “after” photos for your own portfolio. Current and future sellers will realize that you’re different from the competition and are putting your thoughts and creativity into action.
